The glass panel was made by hand-rolling a blob of molten glass on a flat table. While the glass was still hot a metallic fume was flowed over the surface, imparting an irridised coating that changes colour depending upon the angle from which it is viewed.
I purposefully chose this imported glass to compliment the gold figure created for this Award.
