This sculpture started as an exploration of rolling and folding the medium. The result is quite intriguing as each face presents a different set of forms.
The viewer can pose the piece in a variety of positions, keeping its presence fresh to the eye over time.
The finish is an eco-friendly, waterborne stain. I have applied several layers of the stain as it renders a richness of colour and depth and a luscious texture.
